Seniors United for Nutrition Program has a meal site available to seniors 60 and over. Meals are located in the Village Hall Monday Friday serving lunch at noon. Meals on wheels are also available to seniors who are home bound.
Reservations are necessary one day in advance by calling the site at 532-6044. Menus are planned by a registered dietician and meet 1/3 of the daily recommended intake amount. In addition to the meal, cards are played on Thursday afternoons, the Iowa County Benefit Specialist visits monthly, and there is a monthly birthday party with music. The site manager is always looking for new ideas for activities at the site. Volunteer opportunities also exist call the site manager for more details. Come and enjoy the meal and stay for the fun and conversation. Its more than just a meal!
